I love free stuff, don’t you?
Even better – free stuff I will actually use.
Today, I’ve got a special treat for you – and a FREE treat at that.
But, before I tell you all about the freebie, I want to share some super fun news.
Pull up a chair, and stay a while.
Society6 and RedBubble Shops Now Open!
What are these sites, you say?
Well, like Spoonflower, both of these shopping websites print art on products. If I’m already selling on Spoonflower, then why on earth would I make more work for myself by opening more shops?
The difference lies in the merch.
My friends and clients who don’t sew have little use for Spoonflower. Selling on more platforms gives all of my valued customers a LOT more choices.
Society6 and RedBubble offer a much wider range of physical goods including t-shirts, notebooks, leggings phone cases, throw pillows, window curtains, and even bathmats and shower curtains (really!).
Since adding my pattern to these websites takes an unbelievable amount of time (I tweak each product preview to make sure the design looks its best), I have only added my Spanish Tiles designs and my Happy City collection as well as my Navy Vintage Floral pattern.
However, I have PLENTY of patterns to offer, and I am adding more designs each week!
Society6 Shop Tour
Society6 seems geared toward a younger audience, but don’t let that throw you off if you’re old(er) like me. You can find plenty of fun prints and patterns for all ages.
My favorite products at Society6 are the window curtains, shower curtains, phone cases, pouches, and backpacks.
Yes – you can order a custom backpack with the design of your choice.
How fun is that?!

Roostery, A Spoonflower Sister Site
Like Society6 and RedBubble, Roostery offers made-to-order products. Since Spoonflower and Roostery are sister sites, my designs appear on both.
For reference, Spoonflower prints on fabric, wallpaper, and giftwrap.
Roostery offers Spoonflower patterns on finished products such as linen napkins, tablecloths, runners, etc., as well as wallpaper.
Bonus: Budget-Friendly Tip
If you watch your pennies like I do, you may wonder why these items cost more than you might buy at a local home goods store.
The main reason lies in that POD sites offer fully customized products.
These companies don’t stock inventory – when you order a design, it’s printed just for you. This takes time, but it also means you get exactly what you want.
For this individualized service, the prices may be a little higher than, say, Walmart.
However, I want to offer you a big budget-friendly tip: Society6 and RedBubble both regularly offer sales on either categories of products (such as phone cases) or site-wide.
If you sign up for a free account, you’ll receive email notifications of such sales. As I write this, Society6 is giving customers 20% off everything on their site.
Roostery and Spoonflower sales happen less frequently; however, in the past few weeks, I’ve seen three different sales on specific categories of fabric.
Keep an eye out for discounts, and snag your favorite design on sale.
